How to Create Business Cards With Works

Why waste your money having business cards printed professionally when creating your own is so easy using your computer and printer? Design your own custom business cards with any personalization or images you like for less than half the cost to outsource the job, plus add as many words as you like without worrying about the word count.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Microsoft Works Software
  • Printer
  • Business Card Paper
  1. Step 1

    Open a blank document in your Microsoft Works software. Click on "Tools" in the toolbar at the top of the page. Select "Labels" from the menu options.

  2. Step 2

    Select "Multiple Entry Labels" on the pop up page that appears, then click "OK." Select the brand of the paper you have, then the appropriate item number for the business cards and click "OK."

  3. Step 3

    Type your business name and information in the cells on the new page that appears. Go to the menu bar at the top of the page and click "Format" then select "Font."

  4. Step 4

    Add clip art or an image of your own to the business cards by clicking "Insert" and choosing "Picture." Select the appropriate file for your image or browse the clip art available in your software. Resize the image by clicking on any corner of the picture and dragging it towards the center.

  5. Step 5

    Repeat steps 3 and 4 to fill each cell with the appropriate information.

  6. Step 6

    Place the business card paper in the printer as suggested on the packaging. Click "File" in the toolbar at the top of the page, select "Print" and follow the directions that pop up to print the business cards.
